We are specialized in trading with antique cherrywood furniture from the former Donau Monarchy i.e. Austria, Hungary, Slowenia. From Austria we import original unrestored antique furniture (Biedermeier, Louis Philippe, late 19th century and Art nouveau). From Romania we supply restored original furniture, also rebuilds and a fine selection of reproductions in cherrywood. The furniture which is in show room condition and ready for sale is produced in a workshop under german supervision with strict quality control.
The other aspect of our business is devoted to dealing with local furniture from western Germany. Especially period furniture from the Rhine region, specificly Bonn and the surrounding area. Our emphasis here is antique furniture built from woods such as cherry, plum, pear, walnut, oak and mahogany. We also have permanently in stock a selection of unrestored pine furniture from the 19th and 20th century. Antikhandel-Bonn is situated on the city boundary between Bonn and Koenigswinter, with excellent motorway connections. We are about 30 minutes drive from the city of cologne and 20 minutes drive from Cologne / Bonn airport. |
